We're looking for a Communications and Engagement Manager to lead the way in how we communicate, engage and inspire.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape our internal and external communications, champion engagement across all areas, and help build a culture where people feel informed, connected and proud to be part of our journey whether it’s as a customer, supplier or colleague.

About the role:

As our Communications and Engagement Manager, you'll be the creative force behind impactful communications that capture attention and drive engagement.

  • You’ll develop collaboratively and deliver engaging internal and external communication strategies.
  • Create compelling content across a variety of channels, including email, intranet, social media, video and events.
  • Partner with senior leaders to craft messages that inform, inspire and align teams.
  • Lead employee engagement campaigns that celebrate successes and reinforce our culture.
  • Support organisational change by helping colleagues understand the "why" behind key initiatives.
  • Be a brand champion for the “The Hayley Way” and measure the effectiveness of communications and continually seek new ways to improve engagement.

What we’re looking for in our Communications and Engagement Manager:

  • Substantial experience in internal communications, external communications or public relations.
  • Experience planning and delivering both internal and external events that create meaningful experiences and strengthen relationships.
  • A proven ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies that support our goals and bring people along on the “Hayley Way” journey.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences and situations.
  • Strong relationship-building, stakeholder management and influencing skills with a collaborative approach to working with others.
  • Experience supporting and advising senior leaders, helping them communicate clearly, confidently and authentically.
  • A talent for creating engaging content that informs, inspires and connects colleagues.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience using a variety of communication channels and platforms to reach and engage diverse audiences effectively.
