Main Responsibilities
Delivering the Key Moments of the School Year
The postholder will own the planning and delivery of Repton's on-campus event calendar, working with academic, pastoral, and operational colleagues to agree dates well in advance, avoid clashes and give each occasion the lead time it needs. The programme spans admissions events such as Open Days, the start-of-term welcome for new families, formal occasions including the Admission of Scholars and chapel services, as well as concerts, productions, exhibitions, and sporting fixtures that bring visitors onto campus through the year.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Engagement and Promotion
Every event should arrive with an audience already looking forward to it. The postholder will build and run the communications campaign around each occasion, writing and scheduling invitations, confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups, and using the school's email, website, social, and paid channels to drive attendance where numbers matter. They will work with the content team to make sure the look and tone are recognisably Repton, and will track registrations and attendance so that each campaign is informed by what worked last time.
