Role: Communications Assistant - Condor Programme
Contract: 12 M Fixed Term
Shift pattern: Full-time
Salary: Competitive
Location: Nottingham - 5 days in the office

Are you ready to make a difference? Join Boots as a Programme Communications Assistant within our Digital team in Nottingham, Beeston. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the biggest transformation programmes at Boots, where you will help shape how we engage thousands of colleagues on this journey.
In this role, you will work closely with the Communications Manager to create engaging content and manage key communication channels. Your contributions will be vital in driving awareness, understanding, and engagement across the Condor Programme, ensuring our colleagues receive clear, timely, and meaningful updates.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the planning, creation, and delivery of regular programme communications, including newsletters, virtual huddles, and in-person events.
- Creating engaging content that showcases programme progress and achievements, such as intranet articles and short-form videos.
- Coordinating key leadership engagement forums, managing logistics, and preparing communication materials.
- Building strong relationships across the programme to gather information and develop engaging content for updates.
- Identifying innovative ways to engage audiences, ensuring communications are relevant and impactful.

What You’ll Need To Have (our Must-haves)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to draft and adapt content for various audiences.
- Proficiency in communication tools like Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience in internal communications is a plus.
It would be great if you also have
- A background in communications or marketing.
- Creative skills for content creation, such as video editing or graphic design.
