Communications Assistant, Immediate Start

Birmingham City Centre | Full Time | Monday to Friday | 10am to 6pm | £25,000 + performance incentives

Most jobs list "good communication" as a nice-to-have. This one is built around it. You'll spend your days talking to real customers, watching how people actually make decisions, and turning what you learn into reports that shape how some of the country's biggest brands connect with the public.

At Sage, that means representing names people already know and trust, including BT, EE, Eon and Mercedes. We run face to face campaigns across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands, meeting customers where they are and feeding genuine behaviour back into the businesses we work with. It's commercial insight you can only get by being in the room, not behind a dashboard.

We're a Birmingham business, based in the city centre, and we're expanding. This is an on-site role with an immediate start for someone ready to get going.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
