About Us

We are the UK's aviation and aerospace regulator and recognised as a world leader in its field. Our activities are diverse, enabling the aviation industry to meet the highest safety standards, and we pride ourselves on our ability to adapt to the constantly evolving aviation environment.

The Role

We're looking for a Communications Coordinator to play a key role in our Communications & Engagement Team. This is an exciting opportunity to support a busy press office, coordinate strategic communications planning, provide meaningful insight and reporting, and help deliver engaging digital communications that support organisational priorities.

You'll work across a wide range of communications activity, helping ensure our teams are joined up, data-informed, and proactive in how we communicate with our audiences. From supporting media and identifying communications opportunities, to maintaining the communications forward planner and producing monthly performance reports, you'll be at the centre of our communications operation.

You'll be naturally curious, highly organised and collaborative, with an interest in both delivery and measuring performance. You'll be a confident project manager who helps colleagues deliver communications that have measurable impact.

You’ll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can balance reactive and proactive work, and is keen to develop into a well-rounded communications professional.

Core Accountabilities

Press Office Support

  • Support the day-to-day running of the press office, including managing enquiries, coordinating responses, monitoring media coverage and supporting reactive and proactive communications activity.
  • Support the development and delivery of proactive communications campaigns and media announcements that advance strategic objectives.

Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Produce communications impact reports, bringing together data and insight from across channels to demonstrate performance, identify trends and inform future activity.
  • Provide ongoing communications data, evaluation and audience insights to support planning and decision-making.
  • Contribute to communications evaluation, lessons learned reviews, and continuous improvement activity.
  • Support the team's use of data, insight and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled approaches that improve communications delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
