Communications Coordinator

The Department of Geography is seeking a Communications Coordinator to lead the delivery of communications and marketing for the Masters in Conservation Leadership, including the course website, annual report, social media profile and other communications content (e.g. commissioning videos and newsletters). The Masters is a high-profile programme for experienced conservation professionals from around the world, delivered in the David Attenborough Building by the partner organisations in the world-leading Cambridge Conservation Initiative.

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to manage the dissemination of information regarding the Masters and its alumni to external audiences, to members of the Cambridge Conservation Initiative and the wider conservation community, to the alumni network, funders, and any other key stakeholders as required. This is to ensure that the Masters receives good quality applications during its annual marketing round, and to ensure that the profile of the Masters is maintained and understood by all of the target interest groups.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
