About the Role
The Communications and Culture Specialist is a dynamic role dedicated to strengthening our internal and external connections. You will manage daily communication channels and facilitate company-wide sessions while helping to drive our external social media presence and brand reputation. Additionally, you will lead impactful culture-building initiatives and projects that embed the Zepz culture across our global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
Internal Communications & Culture
- Manage day-to-day internal communication channels, ensuring clear, strategically timed messaging and easy access to session recordings and updates.
- Prepare and facilitate key communication formats, including All Hands and AMA sessions, ensuring the business remains aligned with the planning cadence.
- Oversee the 'Customer Experience Corner' end-to-end, collaborating with Customer Care to drive impactful weekly content.
- Propose and implement innovative ideas to embed the communication strategy, increasing global engagement and business understanding.
- Ensure colleagues are well informed about regional 'connect' events and that we maximise opportunities for content discussed to be shared across the organisation. (Connects are our in-person moments when regional teams get together for a week of learning, planning and connecting)
- Drive culture-building projects that strengthen in-person connections. Support on quarterly culture objectives through cross-functional collaboration with the People team and wider business.
- Lead high-impact engagement initiatives linked to our mission, such as the International Day of Family Remittances.
External
- Manage LinkedIn social media feeds for the three core brands: Zepz, Sendwave, and WorldRemit.
- Produce compelling, frequent content that differentiates our brands and drives audience engagement.
- Maintain the Zepz corporate website, regularly uploading fresh content such as blogs, testimonials, and press releases.
- Execute a Glassdoor review program, providing comprehensive management of our corporate profile.
- Partner with our PR agency to secure consistent coverage through thought leadership, commentary, and award entries across Zepz, WorldRemit & Sendwave (B2B & Consumer).
- Earned Storytelling & Campaign Execution: Driving earned communications across product innovations, customer insights, and remittance corridors—creating high-impact narratives for WorldRemit & Sendwave around financial inclusion, product updates, original data-led trends, and integrated brand campaigns.
- Leadership & Brand Comms Schedule: Establishing and managing a strategic communications cadence for senior leadership and our employee-facing brand, ensuring executive voices, employer brand initiatives, and core company milestones land consistently across internal and external audiences.

What you bring to the table
We are looking for a candidate who is a Transparent Communicator with exceptional writing skills, a Responsible Owner with:
- Proven experience (in-house or agency) running internal or external communications in a fast-paced or distributed organisation, with the judgment to time and tailor messaging for different audiences.
- Confidence facilitating company-wide sessions such as All Hands or AMAs, including managing logistics, moderating Q&A, and following up with clear outputs.
- A track record of designing or delivering culture-building initiatives that create genuine connection in a remote-first or hybrid environment.
- Proven social media expertise and a deep understanding of what resonates with our customers and audiences on platforms like LinkedIn.
- Exceptional grammar skills and meticulous attention to detail in all internal and external content to ensure it reflects positively on our brand.
- The ability to project manage multiple workstreams at once — from a weekly content series to a quarterly culture objective — without losing momentum. Must be highly structured and adept at continual prioritising of tasks.
- The tenacity to build strong relationships and drive alignment by collaborating with a variety of internal teams, including the People team, Customer Care, and executive stakeholders.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and proposing new ideas, rather than waiting to be told what to do.
- Proficient in using Slack, Google drive and AI tools such as Gemini & Claude. Must be able to provide examples of how AI tools can make a positive impact in areas of content, organisation, connections and streamlining processes.
Bonus points if you have
- A communications-based degree.
- Experience in handling brand reputation or managing high-volume customer queries.
- Agency experience
