Overview of the Team
The PR & Communications Team is responsible for communicating London’s growth narrative and positioning London & Partners as the authoritative voice on growth. Through its convening power and storytelling capability, the team showcases the city’s future and the breadth and depth of London & Partners’ expertise to high-value audiences around the world.
Overview of the Role
The Communications Executive supports the Senior Communications Manager to steward and develop the London & Partners corporate voice, delivering communications that engage external audiences and build the organisation’s reputation.
Key Tasks
- Stakeholder mapping and engagement:
- Support the Senior Communications Manager to identify and map key stakeholders for London & Partners
- Use organisational tools including Salesforce CRM to build and manage stakeholder contact databases
- Content planning:
- Support the Senior Communications Manager to plan content for all corporate-owned channels
- Liaise with colleagues in other teams to identify and capture content (for example, key outputs being delivered by other teams)
- Content creation:
- Copywriting and content creation for all corporate-owned channels, in particular newsletters, the website, and social media accounts
- Delivering communications support to London & Partners’ corporate outputs, such as the annual Impact Report
- Channel management:
- Monitoring and managing corporate-owned channels including social media and website
- Contribution to the PR & Communications team:
- Deliver daily news roundups and identify emerging narratives and reputational risks
- Support the PR Managers in the creation and implementation of PR moments, providing creative input and ideas, and undertake research to assist with the development and implementation of team projects as required
- Utilise London & Partners’ financial systems to carry out finance and admin tasks, including raising Purchase Orders and supporting with reviews of spending records
- Other reasonable duties as required

You’ll have/bring
- Good written communication skills, with experience in writing copy for websites, social media, and newsletters
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach, with experience in effectively working with people across different teams and from different organisations
- Highly organised, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks to time and standard simultaneously
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and assume responsibility and ownership of tasks
- Ability to work quickly and accurately, meeting deadlines and standards
- Ability to handle sensitive information and engage professionally with senior stakeholders
- Knowledge and experience in using a range of software, including Zoom, Teams, Eventbrite, Salesforce, Outlook, Excel, and Word
- An agile approach, remaining productive in ambiguous and fast-changing environments
