Job Title: Communications Executive

Contract: Permanent
Location: Head Office
Department: Marketing
Salary band: £28,840 - £35,020

What’s the job?

Baltic Apprenticeships is growing fast - and we need someone who wants to grow with it. We're looking for a Communications Executive who's ready for real ownership of how we show up across social, email and internal communications. This isn't a support role sitting behind someone else's strategy - it's your channel, your delivery, your call on what lands and what doesn't.

No two weeks look the same. One day you're building the social content calendar and testing what actually resonates with our audience; the next you're shaping email campaigns, coordinating creative for the launch of a brand-new programme, or running the room in our internal comms meetings. You'll also get to activate our industry partnerships and memberships - putting Baltic in front of the right people and making sure we get full value and visibility from every relationship.

You'll play a key part in shaping how our brand voice evolves over time - collaborating with external partners where relevant, and making sure it comes through consistently everywhere Baltic shows up. That includes checking what the rest of the team writes, from Content to wider marketing output, so the whole business sounds like one Baltic, not several.

You'll bring our brand voice to life across every channel we touch, trusted to make the day-to-day calls on tone and execution from day one - backed by an experienced, fast-moving marketing team who'll support your ideas, not just hand you a brief. If you want to build something real, see your work everywhere from social to business-wide comms, and grow fast in a business that's moving fast itself - this is the role.

You'll report into our Demand Generation Manager, working shoulder-to-shoulder with a close-knit, ambitious marketing team in a genuinely fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Audience Engagement

  • Own and maintain Baltic’s social media calendar across relevant channels
  • Plan, produce, schedule and publish social content aligned with Baltic’s brand, commercial priorities and wider marketing strategy
  • Adapt campaign, long-form and business content into engaging social formats
  • Grow audience reach and engagement through consistent publishing, testing and optimisation
  • Support sales and demand-generation priorities through coordinated social activity
  • Monitor channel performance and use insight to improve future content

Email & Campaign Communications

  • Write and edit email content aligned with Baltic’s brand, sales, employer-engagement and demand-generation priorities
  • Adapt core campaign content for different audiences, channels and stages of the customer journey
  • Develop subject lines, messaging and content variations to support testing and optimisation
  • Support the build, scheduling, delivery and reporting of email campaigns
  • Review content performance and recommend improvements to messaging and creative

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
