Communications Manager
We are looking for a Communications Manager to join our Platform Business Management team. You will be responsible for communications across the Global Operating Platform. Working closely with colleagues across the wider team, you will ensure that communications are aligned with the platform’s priorities and integrated effectively with centralised communications.
About us
Schroders is a global investment manager which provides active asset management, wealth management and investment solutions. We aim to provide excellent investment performance to clients through active management. We serve a diverse client base that includes pension schemes, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, high net worth individuals, family offices, as well as end clients through partnerships with distributors, financial advisers, and online platforms.
Established in 1804, we have around 5,500 people across 36 global locations. Schroders' success can be attributed to its diversified business model, spanning different asset classes, client types and geographies.
Key Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of the Global Operating Platform’s communications strategy and plan during a period of maternity cover. The role will coordinate and deliver communications across the Global Operating Platform, working closely with stakeholders and colleagues in Schroders’ wider network of communications experts, including functional communications specialists and the central Communications team.
You will deliver clear and engaging communications across a variety of digital and in-person channels to raise awareness, inform, involve and educate our global audience. You will support stakeholder and corporate communications, including ExCo and senior manager communication briefings and Board papers, and contribute to client-facing communications such as the Global Operating Platform Client Presentation and strategic operational content for the RfP database.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
