Our client is a premium trackside hospitality company. They showcase, hotels, restaurant & bar, luxury glamping site accommodating up to 350 tents during major events. Create compelling campaigns that attract guests to these standout accommodations.

We are seeking a strong Communications Manager with a background in spectator sports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee cross-channel communications campaigns from strategy to delivery for all products such as major Sports and Leisure products, ensuring every campaign meets timelines, budgets, and maximises publicity opportunities.
  • Manage the delivery of the organisation’s communications strategy and engagement plan across a variety of audience stakeholder groups, both external and internal.
  • Protect and enhance the brand’s reputation through a combination of proactive and reactive communications, including issues management and crisis communications.
  • Proactively identify and secure media coverage opportunities across all sports products including lifestyle, travel, hospitality and entertainment media.
  • Manage external support from both agencies and consultants to co-ordinate campaigns effectively.
  • Proactively cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners to secure positive coverage and collaborations.
  • Field and manage enquiries from local, national and international media and maintain contact details/media lists/messaging database.
  • Coordinate and distribute media announcements – including releases, statements, briefing documents and fact sheets – in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Create regular coverage reports to showcase success of campaigns.
  • Manage the delivery of the organisation’s day-to-day communications function, including planning, sourcing and creating content for a variety of channels and events.

  • Demonstrable experience in proactively executing impactful B2B and B2C campaigns across a wide range of product offerings.
  • Exceptional project management skills to juggle priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels – both internal and external.
