PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
We are looking for a strong communicator with a passion for grabbing attention, an ability to tell good stories and the desire to grow with our business. You’ll be skilled at getting to the heart of what matters most then putting it into the words which explain what we do and can influence our most important audiences.
You will excel in building bonds with colleagues and in finding – then constantly fuelling – relationships with key media, channels and partners. You’ll understand and be excited by the opportunity that social channels and our own compelling content can bring. And you will always strive to join things up in our business, to be concise, consistent and ever more effective in landing the messages that help this business to grow.
Whilst focused on grabbing attention for this vibrant tech start-up – and helping to explain why we are so exciting for broadcasters, brands and consumers – you’ll also know that your skills can help to bring colleagues together and help our partnerships shine.

- Develop opportunities to tell stories of our success via media, through conferences, awards and direct through our & partner channels
- Ensure we make the most of our professional networks and social media opportunity, particularly via LinkedIn and Twitter
- Build Leadership Profiles to carry the stories of the business and its benefits, to reach key audiences
- Work closely with and support our Relationships and Content teams in preparing their messages, creating their materials and making the most of their assets

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
