Communications Manager (12-Month Contract) London | Hybrid Working (2-3 Days in the Office)

Are you passionate about premium television, blockbuster storytelling and building brands that capture audiences around the world?

We're looking for an experienced Communications Manager to join the global communications team behind one of the most exciting premium streaming platforms in the entertainment industry. This is an opportunity to shape the narrative of award-winning original series, drive high-impact publicity campaigns and help elevate a growing entertainment brand across the UK and international markets.

The Opportunity

As Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role across content publicity, consumer PR and corporate communications. You'll work with senior stakeholders, agency partners and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative campaigns that generate buzz, build brand awareness and engage audiences.

From major premieres and talent-led events to strategic media relations and corporate storytelling, you'll help bring some of the industry's most exciting content to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated publicity campaigns for original series, exclusive content and first-run programming.
  • Lead creative communications activity around premieres, screenings, press junkets, talent appearances and launch events.
  • Drive consumer PR initiatives that enhance brand awareness and cultural relevance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, journalists, influencers and content creators.
  • Deliver strategic media relations activity across traditional, digital and social channels.
  • Use data and insights to shape campaign strategy, measure impact and optimise performance.
  • Manage external PR agencies and campaign budgets.
  • Partner closely with marketing, social, events and international communications teams.
  • Provide strategic communications counsel to senior stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of emerging media trends and the growing role of AI within communications.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant communications experience spanning corporate communications, brand PR and entertainment publicity.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-profile campaigns with measurable results.
  • Strong media relations experience across consumer, digital and influencer channels.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing external agencies and budgets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • A passion for television, entertainment and popular culture.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within entertainment, streaming, media, technology or consumer brands.
  • Understanding of the UK media landscape and creator ecosystem.
  • Experience using data to inform communications strategy and measure campaign success.
  • Knowledge of AI tools and their application within modern communications functions.
