As a Communications Manager – Europe & CIS Regional Performance, you will lead Brand, Marketing & Communications activities across the Europe & CIS region. You will be responsible for planning, activating, localizing, executing, and optimizing regional BMEC priorities while serving as a trusted advisor to business and commercial leaders.
You will develop and own the regional marketing communications strategy, supporting commercial growth, strategic priorities, and employee engagement initiatives. Working closely with BMEC Centers of Excellence, segment business partners, and employee communications teams, you will ensure global strategies are effectively translated into high-impact regional campaigns and initiatives.
As a Communications Manager – Europe & CIS Regional Performance, you will be responsible for:
Regional Leadership
- Acting as a trusted marketing and communications partner to commercial and functional leaders across Europe & CIS.
- Working with regional stakeholders to define priorities while ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.
- Collaborating with regional performance teams to establish consistent planning, measurement, and reporting approaches.
- Partnering with Government Affairs & Public Policy (GAPP) teams to align strategic messaging, support policy positions, and strengthen stakeholder communications.

Strategy Activation & Localization
- Translating global brand, marketing, public relations, and segment strategies into regional plans aligned with growth and commercial priorities.
- Ensuring consistent application of global brand standards while enabling market-specific localization.
- Identifying opportunities to tailor messaging, channels, and content to regional customer and stakeholder needs.
- Leading regional crisis communication activities related to geopolitical developments, natural disasters, employee safety, and business continuity.
- Supporting business crisis communication efforts in collaboration with segment communications teams.
Marketing & Communications Activation
- Leading integrated marketing campaign activation and performance across Europe & CIS.
- Supporting commercial, technology, and solutions marketing initiatives to drive a unified Baker Hughes message.
- Partnering with commercial and business leaders to align marketing activities with customer needs and growth objectives.
- Ensuring successful activation of product launches and solution campaigns.
- Supporting employee communication and engagement campaigns in collaboration with internal communications teams.
Executive Engagement & Events
- Advising on the planning and execution of customer events, executive engagements, and industry conferences.
- Ensuring events are strategically aligned, locally relevant, and deliver measurable business value.
- Partnering closely with regional leadership teams on high-profile external and internal engagements.
Performance, Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Tracking and reporting KPIs related to brand performance, campaign effectiveness, communication impact, and commercial contribution.
- Sharing best practices, insights, and lessons learned from across Europe & CIS markets.
- Driving continuous improvement through data-driven decision making and performance evaluation.

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Brand Management, Business, or a related discipline.
- Bring 8-10+ years of B2B marketing and communications experience within a global public company environment.
- Have experience within industrial, energy, technology, or B2B sectors.
- Demonstrate strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
- Possess excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-management skills.
- Have strong project-management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver against regional objectives.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration capabilities across global, regional, and functional teams.
- Be comfortable working across multiple markets and managing complex communications requirements.
- Fluent in English is essential. Italian, French and or German would be of benefit but not essential.

This is a full-time regional leadership role requiring close collaboration with global BMEC teams, commercial leaders, government affairs teams, and regional stakeholders across Europe & CIS.
