Join the dynamic Cisco Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Communications team, part of the broader International Communications function which spans the globe and includes Asia Pacific, Japan, China, Latin America and Canada. Your Impact
With proven experience acting as a trusted communications strategist, you will lead and manage communications for the Cisco EMEA president. In this fast paced and competitive market, you will develop narratives and messaging that positions the Cisco EMEA President on behalf of Cisco as a visionary leader.
As a strategic partner and advisor to the regional president and the EMEA communications director, you will collaborate closely with them to plan and deliver communications that drive impact across key audiences including employees, media, analysts, investors, customers and Cisco’s partner ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the communications strategy and execution for the President of Cisco EMEA, including thought leadership, speaking engagements, and social media – serving as a trusted senior advisor to build a voice that consistently resonates with audiences both inside and outside the company.
- Infuse storytelling in the development of messaging, content and keynotes to ensure messages land with impact at industry events, conferences, and internal forums.
- Partner cross-functionally with public relations and analyst relations to amplify the impact of external opportunities with media and analysts.
- Internally, drive EMEA employee engagement, bringing employees along on the journey during Town Halls and other audience engagement formats you develop.
- Prioritize communications that drive the highest-impact for the business, own the metrics and quality of outcomes, and deliver work that tangibly shifts audience perceptions, attitudes and behaviours.
- Mentor junior team members and support talent development across the EMEA team.

Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of communications expertise across EMEA’s diverse markets and cultures, with proven experience as a trusted senior communications advisor to executives – building platforms and developing communications programs in a global, matrixed technology company.
- Ability to translate business priorities into messages that resonate with each audience across multiple channels and deliver results to prove it.
- Communicate with clarity and precision, distilling complex ideas into natural language and compelling visuals.
- Deep fluency in social media tools and platforms, with proven success shaping and executing an executive's social presence.
- Resilient problem solver able to gain consensus and manage critical situations through consultation and partnerships.

Preferred Qualifications
- Sharp organizational and interpersonal skills, with an intuitive ability to read people and self-motivation to drive work forward.
- Strong understanding of technology trends, as well as Cisco’s story, technologies and services.
- Advanced narrative and presentation skills, with the ability to build compelling visuals and producing and editing videos.
- Strong grasp of AI and emerging tools, with an interest in building technology into workflows to drive efficiencies and free up time for high-impact work.
