Communications Manager (12-Month FTC)

Opportunity to join a leading real estate organisation in a broad communications role, supporting the delivery of high-impact PR, employee engagement and corporate communications activity during a period of maternity cover.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications

This role will work across external communications, employee communications, social media and digital content. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering integrated campaigns, managing stakeholder relationships and creating engaging content that strengthens reputation and drives engagement.

Location:

Central London – 3 days in the office, 2 from home

Salary:

£50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and delivery of national PR campaigns in partnership with agencies, stakeholders and external partners.
  • Develop proactive media strategies that generate high-quality national, trade and regional coverage.
  • Manage campaign timelines, stakeholder engagement and approval processes.
  • Coordinate media enquiries and support reactive communications activity.
  • Oversee the organisation’s case study programme, building a pipeline of customer and community stories.
  • Create and publish engaging content across internal communication channels including email and intranet.
  • Support the ongoing development and management of the company intranet.
  • Help deliver employee events, conferences, town halls and engagement initiatives.
  • Support internal communications campaigns, change programmes and employee engagement activity.
  • Manage website content and develop new digital content to support campaigns and key business initiatives.
  • Monitor website performance and support SEO, AEO and content optimisation activity.
  • Manage and grow the corporate LinkedIn presence through engaging and strategic content.
  • Develop social media plans that support storytelling, thought leadership and employee engagement.
  • Support communications activity for the organisation’s charitable foundation, creating content that showcases impact and community outcomes.
  • Coordinate agency activity and support reporting across communications channels.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience within a corporate communications, PR or internal communications role.
  • Strong writing and content creation skills across multiple channels and audiences.
  • Experience delivering PR campaigns and working with media and external agencies.
  • Internal communications and employee engagement experience.
  • Strong understanding of social media, digital communications and website content management.
  • Experience advising stakeholders and senior leaders on communications activity.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of media relations within corporate environments.
  • Understanding of AI and its impact on corporate communications is desirable.
