Job Title: Communications Manager
Reports to Board of Directors
Location: Nationwide/Flexible/Remote
Salary: Competitive with strong benefits package
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced financial services professional to lead, develop, and elevate our communications and marketing strategy at Beyond Advice Group. Beyond Advice Group is a rapidly expanding UK Independent Financial Advice (IFA) firm currently supporting approximately 25 advisers, with plans to grow to around 100 advisers within the next two years. This growth will come through a combination of employed and self-employed advisers, an expanding Appointed Representative (AR) network, and strategic client bank acquisitions.
This is a key role within the business, sitting at the intersection of people, culture, and brand. You will be responsible for ensuring that communication across the business is clear, consistent, and aligned to our values - whether that is through internal updates, events, leadership messaging, or wider brand content.
This role is both strategic and hands-on. You will be expected to manage communication plans, support executive messaging, and drive consistency across all touchpoints - but also get into the detail, writing content, organising events, preparing materials, and ensuring delivery is executed to a high standard.
You will play a central role in helping to maintain and strengthen our culture as we scale - ensuring that whether someone is office-based, remote, self-employed, or part of our AR network, they feel connected to the business and aligned with our direction.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
