We're looking for a talented Communications & Marketing Officer - Content Creation to join our Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape how we communicate with residents, stakeholders and partners, promoting the Council's services, achievements and events across a variety of channels.
About The Role
As part of our Communications team, you will create engaging and accessible content for digital and traditional platforms, including social media, websites, press releases, videos and internal communications. You will support campaigns and events, respond to media enquiries and work closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure consistent, high-quality communications.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised communications professional with:
- Experience in content creation, media relations, social media communications and/or visual design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong digital skills, including experience using Microsoft Office, web platforms and content creation or editing software.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, work to tight deadlines and deliver high-quality content.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
- A Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject, or a willingness to work towards one.
