Markets 360 Communications Officer – Associate
We are seeking an experienced Communications professional to join the UK Communications team at a leading global financial services organisation. This is a key role focused on developing and delivering media strategy for the Markets 360 Strategy and Economics division, raising the profile of senior spokespeople and economic research across traditional and broadcast media.
You will build strong relationships with journalists, particularly across broadcast, while working closely with senior stakeholders and wider communications teams to deliver high-quality, strategically aligned communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the Markets 360 media relations strategy.
- Build strong relationships with journalists and broadcast media.
- Promote senior spokespeople and economic research to a C-suite audience.
- Identify proactive media opportunities and manage relevant announcements.
- Work closely with internal and Group communications teams to maximise coverage.
- Monitor media trends and gather market intelligence to inform strategy.
- Support wider UK and Group communications activity across digital and social channels.
- Ensure all activity meets relevant policies, procedures and ethical standards.

About You:
- Experienced communications professional with a strong background in media relations and strategic communications.
- Experience working with journalists and broadcast media.
- Financial services, banking or investment sector experience highly desirable.
- Confident engaging with senior and C-suite stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, creative and commercially minded, with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work calmly under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
- Highly collaborative, diplomatic and confident working across multiple teams.
