Communications Consultant – Property & Corporate Communications
London
£50,000–£60,000
Are you an experienced property communications professional who wants to work closer to the issues shaping the built environment?
We’re working with a growing strategic communications consultancy advising high-profile investors, developers, asset managers and organisations across real estate and infrastructure.
This is a senior, client-facing role for someone with excellent media relations skills, a strong network of journalists and the ability to turn complex commercial and reputational issues into compelling communications.
The role
You’ll lead a portfolio of clients, providing thoughtful strategic advice while ensuring campaigns and day-to-day account activity are delivered to a high standard.
You will:
- Act as a trusted senior adviser to clients across the built environment
- Develop corporate communications, media and reputation strategies
- Lead integrated campaigns from initial thinking through to delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property, business and national journalists
- Create strong news angles and secure meaningful media coverage
- Advise clients on complex commercial and reputational issues
- Oversee press releases, opinion pieces, briefings and other written content
- Manage and develop junior members of the team
- Support new business pitches and contribute to the consultancy’s growth
- Spot opportunities to broaden existing client relationships

About you
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Strong property, real estate or wider built-environment communications experience
- An established network of relevant journalists and media contacts
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality media coverage
- A background in an agency, consultancy or relevant in-house role
- Confidence advising and challenging senior clients
- Excellent knowledge of the property and business media landscape
- Strong writing skills and the ability to simplify technical subject matter
- Experience managing multiple accounts, priorities and deadlines
- Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in the issues affecting the sector
- A collaborative approach to leading and developing a team
