Interim Compensation Specialist

Duration: 6-7 months
Day Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: London (hybrid)

About the Role

Our client, a major global business currently undergoing a significant carve-out from its parent group, is seeking an experienced Interim Reward Contractor to specialise in Compensation. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role supporting the business through a critical transition period, working closely with the Global Compensation Lead to manage both business-as-usual demands and transformation/design project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fill resourcing and operating model gaps within the compensation function during the carve-out transition
  • Manage a high volume of compensation-related queries as the business separates from its parent group
  • Support both BAU delivery and compensation transformation/design project work
  • Work closely with the Global Compensation Lead to ensure continuity and consistency of service
  • Build relationships quickly across a fast-moving, ambiguous environment

What We're Looking For

  • Strong specialism in total reward and compensation, with demonstrable global remit and project experience
  • Ideally, experience across global compensation and/or payroll
  • Prior experience in carve-out, transition, or similar private equity-backed/split entity environments highly advantageous
  • A genuine "career" contractor profile, comfortable with serial, period-limited assignments
  • Immediate or near-immediate availability
