Industry Contents Contributor

Industry Contents is a young independent publication covering how AI is changing businesses, industries and the way people work. We’re looking for someone who knows how to find interesting people, companies and ideas and get them to talk.

A company launches an AI product. A founder has an interesting take on an industry. A startup is doing something unusual with AI. A company has data that tells a bigger story. Your job is to spot the opportunity, find the right person, reach out, and turn that connection into something useful for our readers.

What you'll work on

You’ll help Industry Contents build relationships with AI companies, SaaS businesses, founders, executives, PR teams and industry experts. Your work may involve finding companies and people worth speaking to, identifying potential story angles, researching founders and businesses, sending outreach, developing interview questions, arranging conversations, following up with PR teams and turning conversations into useful content opportunities.

You may also pitch Industry Contents to companies and PR agencies, respond to incoming opportunities, identify experts for specific topics and build relationships that can develop into recurring collaborations. We care more about finding interesting people and ideas than generating generic content or filling a publishing calendar.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About Industry Contents

Industry Contents is still early. We’re building it around independent, evidence-led analysis of AI, technology and business: understanding what is actually changing rather than simply documenting what companies say is changing. Contributors will have room to develop relationships with companies and experts, pitch their own ideas and help shape who and what we investigate.

Applying

Send your CV or LinkedIn profile to editorial@industrycontents.com. We're interested in evidence of how you communicate, build relationships and find opportunities.
