Purpose of the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Communications Specialist to manage both internal and external communications, helping to strengthen the company's reputation, employee engagement, and corporate brand. The role requires a professional who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies and plans aligned with business objectives.
- Prepare and manage communication materials, including press releases, executive communications, presentations, newsletters, and corporate content.
- Manage internal communication channels, corporate website content, and digital communication initiatives.
- Coordinate corporate events, town halls, and employee engagement activities, working with others from Operating Companies.
- Support media relations and liaise with external communication agencies and key stakeholders.
- Ensure consistency of the company's corporate identity, messaging, and branding requirements across all communication channels.
- Provide communication support to senior management and manage communication projects with a high degree of autonomy.

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or internal communications.
- Experience in an international corporate environment is preferred.
- Experience in the energy or industrial sector would be an advantage.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms.
- Knowledge of website content management systems and social media communication is an advantage.
- Having familiarity with the Malaysia or Indonesia business environment is an added advantage.
