Communications Strategist and Copywriter

Insight Global is looking for a Communications Strategist and Copywriter to join a global consulting firm in their learning and design team. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the narrative that builds awareness, understanding, and enthusiasm for a large-scale transformation across a diverse, global audience. You'll utilise your exceptional copywriting and editing skills, alongside strong change communications expertise, to ensure messaging is clear, empathetic, impactful and aligned with organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Communication Planning: Develop communication and change strategies, as well as a master communications calendar, aligned to programme objectives and business priorities.
  • Change Communications: Create messaging that anticipates stakeholder concerns and supports awareness, understanding, adoption and engagement throughout each phase of transformation.
  • Copywriting & Editing: Develop clear, engaging and audience-focused content across multiple channels, including email, intranet and internal communication platforms, ensuring consistency of tone and brand.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple communication workstreams simultaneously, documenting key decisions, tracking actions and ensuring delivery against deadlines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Learning & Development, change management, marketing, and technology teams to gather insights, align messaging and deliver a seamless employee experience.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Measure communication effectiveness through metrics and feedback, providing insights and recommendations to improve engagement.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay current with communications, employee engagement and change management best practices.
  • Flexible Project Support: Support additional Learning & Development initiatives as business needs evolve.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing, communications or change management within a large, complex organisation.
  • Proven experience developing and executing communication strategies for organisational change, digital transformation or technology implementations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams and seniority levels.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience adapting communications for global audiences with cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging messages.
  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and proactively drives outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Change Management certification (e.g. Prosci) preferred.
  • Experience using tools such as Miro, Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot or similar marketing automation and collaboration platforms.
  • Previous marketing, employee engagement, internal communications or Learning & Development communications experience.
