What can you expect in a “Community Ambassador” role with TaskUs
You can expect to be responsible for building and nurturing relationships within the community on behalf of TaskUs. Your priority is to serve as a representative and advocate, promoting positive engagement, collaboration, and goodwill between the organization and the community it operates in. You will actively participate in community events, initiatives, and partnerships to strengthen the company's reputation, establish positive connections, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the organization.

This function supports the company or department by fostering positive community relations. You will serve as a bridge between the organization and the community, acting as a point of contact for community members, local organizations, and stakeholders. You will listen to community feedback, concerns, and needs, and provide valuable insights to internal teams. By actively engaging in community outreach activities, you will raise awareness of the company's values, initiatives, and contributions, thereby enhancing the organization's reputation and brand image. Additionally, you may collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop and implement community engagement strategies and initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and establish rapport with community members.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the local community, its culture, and dynamics.
- Ability to represent the company or department in a professional and positive manner.
- Active listening skills to understand community needs and concerns.
- Strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate community events and activities.
- Flexibility to adapt to various community engagement opportunities and initiatives.
- Passion for community involvement and making a positive impact.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in community engagement, public relations, or related fields.
- Familiarity with local government policies, regulations, and community resources.
- Experience in organizing and managing community events or initiatives.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital tools for community engagement.
- Familiarity with corporate social responsibility (CSR) principles and practices.
- Understanding of marketing and branding concepts to promote community involvement.

Education / Certifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as community development, public relations, communications, or a related discipline.
- Certifications or training in community engagement, public relations, or related areas.
Work Location / Work Schedule / Travel
- Manchester Office Based
- Occasional travel may be required for meetings, conferences, or client engagements, as per business needs.
