About TENZING
TENZING Natural Energy is a certified B Corp making plant-based energy drinks with a low environmental impact. Inspired by Himalayan Sherpas, we are the UK's number one natural energy brand. We are carbon negative and have led projects including the clean-up of Everest. Our mission is to inspire people to drink, experience and protect the power of nature.
The role
The Community & Ambassador Lead owns TENZING's ambassador programme end to end, growing the roster past a hundred athletes, climbers, runners and creators over the next year. This is a relationship role. The programme is at its beginning, so whoever takes it on will shape how it works. Everything TENZING produces for paid media, the website and email comes from one of two sources: content we shoot ourselves, or content our community shoots. That places this role at the start of the content supply chain rather than in support of it.
What you will do
- Recruit, onboard and retain a roster growing to 100+ ambassadors, athletes and creators, adding several new people a week and keeping consistent contact with everyone already on it.
- Build and maintain the ambassador toolkit, and issue briefs that carry the live campaign and the tone of voice that goes with it.
- Make sure product arrives where it is needed, before it is needed.
- Work the DM inbox and tagged posts alongside the Social Media Manager, identify people worth knowing early, and run the outreach.
- Review what ambassadors produce, give feedback that improves the next piece, and hold a consistent standard across the roster.
- Run a monthly ambassador meet-up at Basecamp in Camden and support activity at races, festivals and partner events. Some evening and weekend work.
- Rights-clear, tag and file everything that comes back into the content library, so paid media, e-commerce and social can find it and use it.
- Report monthly on roster health, retention, content volume and what it delivered.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Who you will work with
Reporting to the Head of Content & Community, who also leads on shoots and campaign planning. No direct reports at present. Your closest working relationship is with the Social Media Manager: a shared DM inbox, collaborative posts, and briefs aligned to whatever is live on social. You will also work with our designer on assets and the growth team on feeding what you gather into paid media, the website and email. Based at Basecamp in Camden. A minimum of three days a week in the office, and most of the team choose to come in four.
What we are looking for

We are more interested in how you think about people than in job titles.
- Experience building a community, running an ambassador or athlete programme, or holding a large number of creator relationships at once, in any sector. A background in sport, endurance or events is welcome but not required. Experience limited to buying posts is not what we are looking for.
- Judgement about people. You can tell the difference between someone with a following and someone with an audience that trusts them.
- Organised at volume. A hundred relationships, briefs, shipments, files and an events calendar need someone who holds the list.
- Clear, human writing across briefs, messages and invitations, and confidence in person, on calls and on camera.
- Part of at least one of the communities we sit in, whether running, climbing, lifting or racing, and you know who is who in it.
- Able to build agreements people want to be part of, out of product, access and experience as much as anything else.
Also useful:
- An existing network of creators or athletes
- Experience running events
- Comfort shooting and editing simple video on a phone
