Job Title: Community Associate
Location: Venture X White City
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 - 17:30
Salary: £28,000 plus up to 10% discretionary bonus
Reporting Line: Community Manager

Role Description
To assist the Community Manager with daily tasks whilst proactively creating an engaging business environment and promoting the member community.
- Excellent levels of customer service and customer care
- Build and maintain a strong community network
- Assists with flexible workspace viewings for potential new members
- Organising, hosting and attending member events
- High standards of presentation and maintenance of the workspace environment
Core Areas of Responsibility:
Member & Customer Service
- Be the first point of contact for visitors and customers at the reception area and communal space ensuring excellent levels of presentation within the workspace
- Provide top level customer service to all members, customers, and visitors
- Engage with all existing members, and potential new clients to strengthen and increase good customer relationships by understanding them and their business needs
- Ensure all day-to-day members’ needs and complaints are dealt with effectively to ensure successful running of the workspace and member experience
- Ensure all reception/admin duties are well managed (booking meeting rooms, taking payments for Ad-hoc requests, distributing the daily mail, ensure courier parcels have all the details for scheduled pick-ups, etc.)

Sales
- Assist with sales and viewings of the workspace both proactively and at the request of the Community Manager where necessary
- Develop a solid understanding of additional services that can be offered such as office upgrades / meeting room bookings etc.
- Assist in the hosting, management, and marketing of other company brands within the space whilst ensuring all up/downsizing opportunities are maximised
- Familiarisation with competing centres and services in the local areas
Team
- Represent the brand in good communication, teamwork and building an entrepreneurial environment within the Venture X team
- Be capable of deputising in the absence of the Community Manager
Community Management
- Actively building and maintaining communities within the workspace
- Organising and hosting networking and social events to create and forge new relationships with potential customers and relevant stakeholders
- Creating content (eg newsletters, social, posters & promotion, etc)
- Promote the company through members and general public contacts

Workspace Management
- Identify value enhancing workspace improvements and recommend these to the Community Manager
- Ensure compliance with company’s Health and Safety Policy and all associated statutory requirements throughout the workspace
- Work closely with the Community Manager to ensure smooth move in / outs for new and existing members in the space
- Work effectively with the team and management to ensure high standards of presentation and maintenance of the space, and arrange reactive works if necessary
- Keep up to date with workspace procedures as well as proactively discussing “better practice” to improve
- Carry out Ad-hoc tasks as agreed with the Community Manager
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach to fostering a welcoming community
- Proficiency in communication and community support to handle member interactions effectively
- Experience in case management and community health engagement
- Ability to work collaboratively, with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Enthusiasm for coworking culture and an interest in building meaningful community connections
- Previous experience in a similar role or in client-facing industries is a plus
