Job Opportunity: Bladder & Bowel Specialist Service

About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic clinician who is passionate about patients with continence issues. With health promotion being at the forefront of care delivery we are a service which aims to achieve a positive difference to patients’ suffering from bladder and bowel dysfunction.
Responsibilities
As a Clinical Practitioner, you will:
- Have proven organizational, management, and computer skills.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Bladder & Bowel Specialist team in delivering a holistic high quality of care.
- Support patients, carers, family members by assessing and developing individual plans of care, providing teaching, and initiating management strategies.
- This would include pelvic floor exercise plans, bladder retraining, and bladder scanning and bowel irrigation, reviewing of plans, and liaising with other multi-disciplinary and multi-agency teams.
- Assist with delivering bladder & bowel-based training to our community teams and other stakeholders.
- Be supported by use of local and national guidelines relating to continence care and evidence-based practice.

Key Tasks
- Undertake holistic bladder and bowel assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating care primarily to the adult population specifically in the area of Bladder and Bowel health.
- Provide bladder and bowel advice and education to professionals working within the health care economy.
- Work with patients and carers promoting continence whenever this is applicable, and where not achievable the aim will be to manage incontinence to a high standard.
