About the Role
At Kensa Health, we support people to live safely, comfortably and independently in their own homes.
This is a domiciliary care role, which means you will travel between clients’ homes rather than working in one residential care setting. We provide care in and around the Dorset and Hampshire counties in areas such as New Milton, Lymington, Ringwood, Ferndown, West Moors, Corfe Mullen, and Wimborne. You will follow planned community care runs, regularly support the same clients, and build positive, trusting relationships with them.
If you are caring, reliable, and looking for meaningful work, we will provide all the training and support you need from day one. Previous care experience is not essential.
Responsibilities
- You will visit clients in their own homes and support them with everyday tasks, including:
- Personal care, such as washing, dressing, and continence support
- Medication support and reminders
- Preparing meals and supporting good nutrition
- Light household tasks
- Companionship and emotional reassurance
- Supporting clients to maintain their independence
- Recording accurate care notes and reporting any concerns
- Following individual care plans and safeguarding procedures

- You will work independently while visiting clients, with support available from your Care Coordinator and the wider hub team whenever needed.
Requirements
- As you will travel between clients’ homes, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
- Applicants must also be aged 18 or over due to the personal care responsibilities involved.
