Home Instead – Care Professional Role
About the Role Are you able to travel to visit clients in their homes to carry out a variety of duties, including personal care, administering medication, and companionship? - Support clients with daily routines (e.g., administering medication, personal care, and transport to appointments)
- Build meaningful relationships and trust
- Know you’re providing valued and rewarding care
Responsibilities As a Care Professional with Home Instead, you’ll:
- Offer tailored support to clients in their homes or communities
- Assist with activities of daily living (eating, grooming, mobility support)
- Manage medication reminders (as directed)
- Provide companionship, conversation, and social engagement
- Travel to and from client locations safely and reliably

Requirements & Qualifications We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, regardless of prior experience. However, you should embody the following virtues:
- A kind heart, compassion, and empathy for older adults
- Reliability, trustworthiness, and professionalism
- Willingness to build rapport and develop long-term friendships
- Comfort in spending time with people of varying needs
Ideal Candidate: ✔ A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (crucial for regional visits). ✔ A desire to help others thrive in everyday life. ✔ Open-mindedness and adaptability to care plans.
Note: No qualifications or experience are required—we provide enhanced onboarding training and ongoing support including a dedicated mentor.
