Company Description Are you able to travel to visit clients in their own homes to carry out a variety of duties, including personal care, administering medication, and companionship?

Job Description Each CAREGiver is carefully selected to suit a client’s personality, interests, and needs. You will help enrich the lives of our amazing clients by assisting them to live safely and happily in their own homes.

You will provide a range of services from meaningful companionship to non-medical personal care, all tailored to each client. Home Instead has a minimum of one-hour visits, ensuring CAREGivers are not rushed. This allows you to provide the best person-centred care for your clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care in a client’s home, including assistance with daily living activities.
  • Offer companionship and stimulating interaction to promote emotional well-being.
  • Administer non-medical assistance according to the client’s individualised care plan.
  • Support clients with safe navigation of their home environment.
  • Build trust and rapport with clients, fostering a supportive and friendly relationship.

Qualifications & Person Specification

  • No prior experience or qualifications are required to become a CAREGiver; we provide industry-leading training.
  • A passion for supporting others with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
  • Reliability, trustworthiness, and respect – essential to build professional relationships.
  • Comfortable spending time in one-on-one company and building professional friendships.
  • Strong personal care ethics and the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Willingness to follow company guidelines regarding COVID-19 safety and proper PPE use.
  • Ability to commit to regular part-time hours (suitable for flexible scheduling).
  • A desire to make a positive impact in the community by caring for older adults in their homes.
