Home Instead Care Professional Location: Pocklington & Brough Salary: £13.15 – £13.65 per hour Hours: Contracts available up to 30 hours per week | Paid travel time & mileage

Working Pattern

Flexible patterns available:

  • Shift times:
    • Morning: 8:15am – 2:15 pm
    • Evening: 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm
  • Frequency: 3 or 4 weekdays per week
  • Weekends: Alternate Saturdays and Sundays

Note: Regularity and reliability are critical—consistency benefits both our clients and team.


Job Description: What Does the Role Involve?

As a Home Instead Care Professional, you will help older adults stay safe, happy, and independent in their own homes. Duties may include:

  • Companionship
  • Personal care
  • Meal preparation
  • Medication assistance
  • Shopping and errands
  • Supporting community access
  • Maintaining dignity and independence

Requirements

  • Essential:

    • Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
    • Kind, compassionate, and committed attitude
    • Reliability and strong work ethic
    • Good communication and teamwork skills
    • Passion for supporting older adults
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Additional:

    • background checks completed satisfactorily
    • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
