🌍 Community Connector | East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH)
📍 Cambridgeshire communities, with some home working
🏢 Key focus on working within local Cambridgeshire communities, with some home working. Based at EACH's Milton Hospice (CB24 6AB) for meetings, training, and team activities as required.
⏰ Full Time | 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
💼 Permanent
💷 £25,700 - £27,500 per annum (dependent on experience)
Join East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) and help strengthen connections between local communities and hospice services, supporting children, young people and families to access care when and where they need it.
We're looking for a Community Connector to build meaningful relationships across communities, improve awareness of EACH services and support inclusive, community-based approaches to care.
📍 We would particularly like to hear from individuals who have connections within local communities in the Peterborough area.

Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships with local communities, organisations and partner agencies to increase awareness of EACH services
- Work alongside under-represented communities to support more equitable access to care
- Support community outreach activities, events and engagement initiatives across the region
- Work alongside families and partners to co-produce inclusive engagement opportunities
- Provide information, advice and signposting to families and professionals
- Contribute to developing approaches that enable care beyond hospice settings
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across care, volunteering & fundraising teams to support a joined-up approach
About You
- Experience working with families, communities or partner organisations
- Experience supporting community engagement, outreach or participation activities
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
- Understanding of equity, diversity & inclusion within community settings
- Ability to manage your own workload and adapt your approach to different communities and situations
- Experience may have been gained through employment, volunteering, community involvement or lived experience

Additional Information
- 🚗 Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential
- 🤝 Job share applications will be considered. Please indicate in your application if you wish to apply on this basis.
- 💷 For part-time hours, salary will be pro rata.
- 🕒 Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends is required.
