Company Description
RiskSmart is a modern GRC platform designed to help risk professionals work smarter, grow faster, and gain a clear, unified view of risk across their organisation. We help risk teams move away from spreadsheets and bring risks, controls, issues and compliance into one connected place, so they can stop reporting on risk, and start managing it. Our platform sits along R. Community, a growing network of GRC professionals who share knowledge through events, panels and peer discussion. We’re a growing team that pairs smart tech with real expertise, and this role sits at the heart of R. Community.
Role Description
The role itself is hybrid, but you must be willing to be in the office monthly, and travel across the UK for in person events.

R. Community is the professional home for risk practitioners. It’s a place where risk and compliance people learn, share what works and meet each other. It already has over 500 members, and we want it to become the place the profession goes. We’re looking for a Community Coordinator to help make that happen. You’ll get to work across all teams at RiskSmart, and you’ll get the chance to help build something from the ground up.
What you’ll do
- Be the go-to person for R. Community memberships and content coordination
- Plan and run campaigns to grow membership and reach risk professionals
- Manage the R. Community platform day to day, including posts, newsletters, moderation, member queries
- Help deliver our events programme, from the product release clinics, Industry Professional Webinars, in person networking and our annual customer celebration evening, coordinating venues, speakers and supplies
- Analytics of content and event performance

What we’re looking for
- A graduate or someone with experience in social media, content, marketing, events or community
- Someone with excellent writing skills and can identify with the RiskSmart brand
- A real people person who’s comfortable in a room full of senior professionals
- Someone with plenty of ideas, attention to detail, and the drive to take ownership early
You do not need a background in risk, or GRC.
