Community Engagement Manager
Location: Central London (on-site)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 per annum, plus ownership of a dedicated programme and events budget
Reports to: Campus Manager / Co-founder, with direct visibility to the Board
Make a legendary creative campus buzz again
An iconic London creative campus has launched careers, hosted globally known artists and become a home for the capital's music, audio, media and creative businesses. Now it's entering its next chapter, and we're looking for someone special to bring it to life.
The owners are investing in a full regeneration of the site, covering the look and feel, the brand and the physical spaces. New landscaped breakout areas and garden spaces are coming, and the flexible and co-working offices are being redesigned and refreshed. The campus also has a gallery and events space, an on-site café and a pub!
What the site needs now is someone to fill it with energy. Open mic nights, showcases, industry talks, summer drinks in the garden, coffee-led meet-ups, even weddings and private events: the possibilities are huge, and you'll shape them.
The role
This is a standalone, high-profile role at the heart of the owners' plans. You'll be the face of the community: the person tenants know, trust and want to see on site. You will:
- Champion tenants. Be the first point of contact for the community, run welcome and induction experiences, and build a structured programme of check-ins. You'll spot dissatisfaction early, act on feedback and help drive retention.
- Create a calendar worth talking about. Design and deliver an annual programme of events that builds cross-tenant relationships and puts the campus on the map, from networking and showcases to seasonal celebrations.
- Stretch the budget. Use your commercial instinct to bring in sponsors, brands, industry partners and artists, so the programme goes further than the budget alone.
- Tell the story. Produce newsletters, social content, welcome packs and case studies that showcase tenant businesses and project the campus's brand.
- Build the network. Develop relationships with local authorities, business networks, sector bodies and complementary organisations that bring opportunities and profile to the campus.
- Drive decisions with data. Own the community budget and track KPIs such as retention, satisfaction, NPS, attendance and referrals. You'll report regularly to the Board on performance, sentiment and risk.
- Work across the business. Partner with Sales, Operations/Facilities and Marketing so community activity is joined up, not siloed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
