The Barren River Area Development District
The Barren River Area Development District is a multi-jurisdictional planning and development agency which serves the BRADD area, ten county region. This position aids local governments within the region to enable economic and community growth; assists in obtaining funding for projects; provides project assistance to ensure compliance with funding agencies.
Responsibilities
- Project profiles in statewide database
- Maintenance of resource information
- Assistance with broadband expansion and other infrastructure development
- Support for the Barren River Water Management Council
- Aiding individual utilities with project planning and development
- Working closely with KIA (KY Infrastructure Authority), local elected officials, and other state agencies

Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience with state and federal programs is desired
Additional Requirements:
- All applicants are required to pass a background check
- Must have a car and valid driver’s license
