Join Our Team as a Community Early Years Practitioner
Would you like to make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of children, young people and families? We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Community Early Years Practitioner in our Bristol East and Central Team.
About the Role
Join our dedicated 0–19 Public Health Nursing team as a Community Early Years Practitioner and make a lasting difference to children and families across BNSSG. Working alongside Health Visitors, you'll deliver evidence-based early intervention, empower parents, promote healthy child development, and provide support in homes and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based early intervention
- Empower parents
- Promote healthy child development
- Provide support in homes and community settings
- Work largely autonomously with supervision
- Plan, deliver, and record your allocated work
- Liaise with Health Visitors and other colleagues
Working Conditions
- Role offered as a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave
- Work in partnership with families and partner organizations
- Use a holistic and sensitive approach to support parents with their children's social, emotional and developmental needs
- Embed Sirona's vision of supporting communities socially and economically to tackle the impact of child poverty, reduce inequalities and add social value
