Community Educational Psychology Service

About The Role

Soulbury EP A scale (Point 4-9 + 3SPAs)
Full time, Permanent (Part-time applications will also be considered)

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Community Educational Psychology Service. You will play a core part in the delivery of psychological services and support to education and community settings.

This work will involve assisting in the development and delivery of a range of services and interventions including:

  • Training and development work, involving wellbeing programmes and mental health support teams
  • Innovative project work
  • Group work with children, young people, families, and communities
  • 1:1 mentoring/therapeutic work with children and young people
  • Evaluation of service delivery
  • Administration
  • Direct individual work with CYP, including statutory assessment work

Requirements Of The Post

To be a qualified and experienced Educational Psychologist with HCPC registration, or in year 2 or 3 of doctoral training.

  • Relevant experience of working with children in educational / clinical or community settings to promote children’s well-being and progress;
  • Evidence of using psychological understanding and approaches to support practice;

Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week. Dependent on service requirements, you may be required to work on a rota basis.
