Are you passionate about working with and supporting communities and young people in an inclusive dance setting?

Through its Associate Schools and Community Engagement programmes, the Learning and Engagement department provides ongoing opportunities for people within our local communities to connect with the artistic programme at Sadler’s Wells and to explore their own creativity. Nurturing young talent is another core aspect of the department’s work and through the National Youth Dance Company and Academy Breakin’ Convention, it plays an important role in developing the next generation of exciting and diverse dance artists.

The aim of the role is to coordinate strands of our community engagement work inspired by our artistic programme, including Culture Club, Family Freestyle and Get Into Dance, as well as supporting the coordination of our Associate Schools programme and schools-related projects.

You Will Have The Following Skills And Experience

  • Experience of coordinating participatory arts activities in education, charity and/or community engagement settings
  • An interest in the performing arts and the role they play in education and the community
  • Demonstrable project delivery skills including planning, scheduling, delivery, and evaluation
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends when required
