Help us turn a growing network of senior professionals into an active, engaged community

We need an experienced community professional to improve onboarding, participation, communications and advocacy across our TimeGiver, TimeBidder and supporter community.

What difference will you make?

Time to Give Network only creates impact when people participate.

  • Every additional senior professional who offers their time creates another opportunity for a valuable conversation and another potential donation to charity.
  • Every engaged TimeBidder increases the likelihood that those opportunities become real meetings and real charitable impact.

We already have a substantial community. The opportunity now is to engage that community more effectively.

Your contribution could help us close the gap between people being interested in Time to Give Network and actually using it.

Better onboarding, communication and engagement should result in more active TimeGivers, more TimeBidders requesting meetings, stronger relationships with our ambassadors and supporters and greater word-of-mouth growth.

As a Community Interest Company, we are not driven by maximising profit. Surplus generated by our fundraising activities, after operating costs, is distributed to charitable causes.

Community engagement therefore sits at the heart of both our growth and our social impact. Helping more people participate effectively should ultimately lead to more valuable professional connections and more funding reaching charities.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced community or engagement professional who understands how to turn interest and membership into genuine participation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You will ideally have at least three years’ professional experience in one or more of:

  • Community management
  • Member engagement
  • Customer engagement
  • Customer success
  • Membership organisations
  • CRM or lifecycle engagement
  • Advocacy programmes
  • Communications
  • Community-led growth

Experience engaging senior professionals or managing a B2B, professional or membership-based community would be particularly useful.

The most important qualities for this role are ownership, organisation and an instinct for what makes people engage.

We are not simply looking for someone to send newsletters or post updates. We want someone who can look at the whole member journey, identify where participation is being lost and create practical ways to improve it.

You should be comfortable combining strategic thinking with hands-on activity designing an engagement approach, testing ideas, communicating directly with members and learning from what works.

Strong written communication skills are important, as is the ability to communicate naturally and professionally with senior people.

You should also be comfortable working independently. Time to Give Network operates with a lean team, so we particularly value people who see what needs doing, propose solutions and take responsibility for moving things forward.

Experience with CRM, email engagement, member journeys, community analytics or advocacy programmes would be useful, but is not essential if you have strong relevant community-building experience.

Remote

What will you be doing?

Time to Give Network is a UK Community Interest Company using professional time and expertise to create charitable impact.

Our fundraising platform enables senior professionals – our TimeGivers – to offer their time for valuable one-to-one meetings. A person requesting a meeting – a TimeBidder – makes a donation to the TimeGiver’s chosen charity in return.
