About the role
As our Community Engager, you'll play a pivotal role in helping Consumer & Shopper Engagement make a step change from a world-renowned customer support centre to an innovative digital engagement centre for communities. You'll engage with fans across social media, live streams, product reviews, fan communities, and gaming-focused platforms. You'll help create valuable interactions that support business and marketing objectives while identifying new opportunities to strengthen engagement across consumer touchpoints. You'll also contribute to keeping community experiences safe, compliant, and positive for everyone who joins the conversation.
This role is based in Slough, UK and will follow our best of both hybrid working model (three days in the office), with regular weekend days on a rotating basis. You will also be required to work shifts with varying starting times.
No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience managing community interactions across multiple digital platforms, including social media, fan communities, gaming forums, or review platforms (Reddit, Discord, Facebook, Instagram, or similar community-driven channels).
- Delivers written communication in fluent English, adapting tone and messaging for diverse audiences and personalized responses in a timely manner (we are FRKE! Fun, Reliable, Knowledgeable and Engaging!).
- Creates channel-specific content and engagement strategies tailored to different audiences and online communities.
- Applied brand safety, moderation, or compliance standards while engaging audiences in public digital communities.
- Identified emerging trends and community insights that informed engagement strategies, content decisions, or stakeholder recommendations.
- Contribute to community reporting by gathering, documenting, and sharing engagement insights with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Utilised Reddit, Discord, or similar community-led platforms as part of a community engagement strategy.
- Brought a genuine interest in gaming, Formula 1, or other online fandom communities.
- Used French, German, Dutch, Spanish or Italian in customer-facing, community-facing, or online engagement environments.

Life on the team
You'll join Consumer & Shopper Engagement (CSE), a department focused on creating engaging experiences across social media, owned community platforms, gaming communities, and shopper touchpoints. Within CSE, the LEGO Community Management and Moderation team works closely together while supporting a shift-based environment, including weekend coverage. You'll thrive if you're comfortable engaging a wide range of audiences, enjoy pop culture and online communities, adapt quickly when priorities change, and bring a positive approach to your work.
LEGO Community Management and Moderation is at the forefront of delivering exceptional community experience globally to support our ambitions of building direct and lasting relationships with kids, grown-ups, fans and creators in owned and earned spaces to make them feel welcomed, recognized and valued, to grow healthy communities, to drive membership and protect the LEGO brand.
In this role you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to build direct and lasting relationships with grown-up fans and creators, through publishing content and engaging directly with these audiences.
What success looks like
Success means confidently navigating a wide range of audiences and engagement opportunities while creating interactions that feel relevant and timely. You'll proactively spot emerging trends, identify opportunities for meaningful engagement, and share insights that help the team evolve its approach. Over the next 12 to 18 months, the team expects continued change and growth, so your ability to learn quickly and adapt will be important. You'll work closely with colleagues across the Community Management and Moderation team and with the audiences you engage every day.
