Education Leaders is looking for a Community & Enrolment Lead to fill cohorts for the Education Leaders Intensive: a practical, research-backed leadership development programme for international school leaders.
This is not a cold-outreach role, and you won’t be building a pipeline from scratch. Every participant we have ever enrolled came through channels that already work: a podcast in the global top 5%, a weekly newsletter, published books, an active LinkedIn presence and lead magnets people actually download. The enquiries arrive. Your job is to make sure the people arriving get a proper, timely, human response and a clear path into the programme, and to keep the wider community warm between cohorts.
What you’ll do
- Own enrolment, start to finish.
- Own the flow of enquiries arriving through the podcast, newsletter, LinkedIn, lead magnets, the website and referrals, and respond personally. Lead-magnet downloads get a reply within 48 hours; it’s our highest-converting, most time-sensitive source.
- Move enquiries through to application and enrolment, using the application form as the primary route and conversations where they’re needed.
- Hold enrolment conversations with prospective participants. These are professional dialogues with school leaders, not transactional sales calls.
- Keep the CRM tight: every live lead has a next action and a date against it.
- Onboard each cohort, run light check-ins during it, and gather feedback, testimonials and case studies at the end.
- Nurture the wider community between cohorts: alumni, course members, podcast listeners and newsletter subscribers.
- Work with our Virtual Assistant on email sequences, application processing and scheduling, and give the Founder a short written update each week.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we’re looking for
- Someone who finishes things.
- Someone who knows the international schools sector, can hold a confident, professional conversation with a Head or a Deputy Head, works autonomously, and enjoys building relationships. You might be a former school leader, an EdTech professional or an education consultant who wants quality part-time work that fits around your life.
- Above all, we’re looking for someone who finishes things. The hardest part of this job isn’t the conversation. It’s making sure the conversation gets followed up. When you contact a Head of School, they should think ‘colleague’, not ‘salesperson’. That’s the kind of person we’re after.
Essential
- Understanding of the international schools sector and how leaders make professional-development decisions
- Comfortable talking with Heads, Principals, Deputy Heads and Curriculum Leaders
- Demonstrable follow-through
- Excellent written communication: warm, clear and human
- Able to work autonomously across a 12-hour week
- Comfortable with CRM and email tools, or quick to learn them
- UK-based with the right to work in the UK
Desirable
- A background in school leadership, coaching, professional learning or consultancy
- Direct experience working in, or selling to, international schools
- An existing network within international education
- Familiarity with community platforms such as Circle, and email tools such as Kit

Why this works
The product sells, and we’re honest about the numbers.
- Our first cohort enrolled 18 participants. You’re not cold-calling from zero: every single person who has ever joined the Intensive found us through our own channels, a top-5% podcast, a weekly newsletter, published books, an active LinkedIn presence and lead magnets that people actually download. The enquiries arrive. What they need is someone to look after them properly.
- We’re upfront about what success looks like: the minimum is 12 participants per cohort, 24 a year. That isn’t a stretch goal. It’s the baseline the business needs to function, and we’d rather tell you now than after you’ve started.
How we work
A small company that does things properly.
- Education Leaders Ltd supports international schools globally through leadership development, strategic planning and organisational change. Founded by Shane Leaning, host of the Education Leaders podcast and co-author of Change Starts Here (Routledge), we’re a small, values-driven company that cares about doing things properly.
- Results, not hours. We care about what you deliver, not when you’re online.
- A real right to disconnect. Your time outside agreed hours is yours.
- Paid mental health days, no questions asked, and enhanced sick pay with no waiting period.
- A professional development allowance, a workplace pension, and all benefits from day one.
- Room to grow the role, your hours and your responsibilities as the programme grows.
Full pay, benefits and contract details are in the job description.
