About Unlock Her Tech
Unlock Her Tech is an inclusive tech community supporting women, non-binary people and allies through practical learning, mentoring, career development, technical programmes, events and partnerships.
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Volunteer Community & Events Coordinator to help us plan and deliver our online and in-person events, including technical workshops, She Leads Tech sessions, career events, community meetups, panels, partnership events and networking sessions.

About You
- Organised, reliable and proactive
- Confident communicating with different people
- Comfortable taking ownership and following up on tasks
- Interested in community building, events, technology or career development
- Comfortable using tools such as Google Workspace, Luma, Google Meet/Zoom and Trello/Jira
Previous events or community experience is helpful, but not required. Open to feedback
Responsibilities
- Coordinating event dates, speakers, instructors, mentors, partners and volunteers
- Maintaining our events calendar and keeping information up to date
- Creating and updating event listings on Luma and our website
- Confirming timings, locations, joining links and event requirements
- Supporting online event setup and in-person event logistics
- Sending reminders and following up with speakers and attendees
- Supporting events on the day and helping create a welcoming experience
- Tracking registrations, attendance and feedback
- Working with our social media/content team to support event promotion
- Keeping event trackers, deadlines and actions organised
