About Igodo

Igodo is a London app for small, curated in-person gatherings called connects. Three to six compatible people, one good plan, real life. No feeds, no swiping, no engagement tricks. We measure ourselves on one thing: whether people meet again. We launched this summer on the App Store and Google Play and we are building the founding community by hand.

The Role

You'll host connects for us, one at a time, working directly with the founder. This is a field role, not a desk one. We offer you a connect, you take it or leave it, and you're paid a flat fee for each one you run. Some weeks there might be two, some weeks none, and connects are booked one at a time with no set number per week. We'll start with a three month run and review together after that.

An Example Connect

A free open-air film night at King's Cross for up to six people. You gather the group in the app beforehand, arrive early, welcome each person by name, keep the evening warm and easy, and capture a little of it as you go.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You'll Do, Per Connect

  • Fill the seats through warm, personal outreach, one person at a time, never blasts. You won't start from zero: open seats also surface through Igodo's own channels.
  • Set the room: arrive early, welcome people by name and run the small rituals that make a gathering feel held.
  • Capture the connect in photos and short video, with everyone's consent, and hand it over within two days with a short recap.
  • Close warm, pointing people at the next one.

Who You Are

  • You live in London and you go to things: markets, galleries, screenings, book clubs, runs.
  • Warm in person and in DMs. Strangers relax around you.
  • You can shoot and edit simple, honest content on a phone.
  • And you care about how hard it's become to make friends as an adult, and want to work on that directly.

What Success Looks Like

Full rooms. People coming back for a second connect. That is the whole scorecard. Not followers, not impressions.

Compensation

£60 flat per connect that runs. Filling the seats is part of the hosting: a connect runs when at least three people are seated through the app; if it doesn't gather enough people it's rescheduled rather than run thin, and the fee comes when it runs. A connect is typically a two to three hour gathering on an evening or weekend, plus the filling and capture around it. You invoice Igodo Ltd after each connect as self-employed and we pay within 14 days.

How to Apply

Email hello@igodo.app with your name, confirm that you're based in London, your Instagram handle and a few lines on a gathering you've hosted or one you'd love to run. If you've been to a connect, tell us.
