Introduction

Join Our Team as a Community Events Support Volunteer!

Are you someone who enjoys meeting new people and are confident talking to members of the public?

Do you love being out and about in new communities, enjoying the buzz and excitement of being at the hub of an event? We’re on the lookout for passionate and energised volunteers to join our Fundraising Team.

We are recruiting volunteers to help us with events across our community. Rowcroft offers support for life-limiting illnesses across Torbay but also from North Bovey to Dawlish, Kingswear to Dartington – and our supporters, and keen fundraisers, stretch just as far!

We have many opportunities to host events or are asked for support at an ‘In Aid of Rowcroft’ event and we are looking for independent and practical volunteers who would enjoy the role of a Community Events Support Volunteer.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
