  • 3 Permanent full-time positions available, and Monthly RDO for full-time 40-hour weeks
  • 3 locations available across the municipality: Autumn Place Community Hub (Doveton), Eliston Family and Community Centre (Clyde) and Lynbrook Community Centre.
  • Band 4 Salary $74,100 to $81,290 + Super (subject to exp)

About the Role

Help create vibrant, welcoming community spaces where people connect and thrive. In this hands-on role, you'll manage facility bookings, support local programs and events, and deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring our facilities are safe, accessible, and well maintained.

As part of the Active Communities team, you'll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and play a key role in supporting community participation. This Band 4 opportunity offers a supportive team environment, professional development opportunities, and the chance to make a genuine impact in your local community.

What You’ll deliver

  • Manage and coordinate bookings for community facilities and hireable spaces.
  • Deliver high quality customer service, responding to enquiries and community needs.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and well-equipped facilities across multiple sites.
  • Support the delivery of community programs, activities, and events.
  • Provide administrative support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

  • A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset
  • Community Development experience or experience working in a community setting is desirable.
  • Experience working with diverse communities and delivering strong customer service
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands
  • Sound administrative skills and ability to manage systems and processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively and support programs, staff, and volunteers
  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check, Functional Assessment (Medical/physio).
