Community Fundraiser for Hope for Tomorrow
📍 Hybrid, with at least 2 days a week at head office in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire (GL10) 💷 £30,000–£32,000 🕘 Full time, Monday to Friday 🌴 25 days' leave plus bank holidays 🚗 Full UK driving licence required
Every 75 seconds, someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. Since launching the world's first mobile cancer care unit in 2007, Hope for Tomorrow has been bringing treatment closer to where patients live and work. Today it runs 14 units with nine NHS trusts, delivering more than 26,000 patient visits a year.
Community fundraising will be at the heart of the charity's next chapter, and this is a chance to shape it. You'll lead a varied portfolio of events and campaigns (including Cuppa for Cancer Care and Big Give), look after individual fundraisers, community groups and charity of the year partners, recruit and support volunteers, and give talks that inspire people to get involved.

Role responsibilities to include:
- Organise and manage Community Fundraising activities and events, supporting third party events and organising a portfolio of Hope For Tomorrow events.
- Manage and develop our annual fundraising campaigns, Cuppa for Cancer Care and Big Give.
- Provide excellent supporter stewardship, for individual supporters, community groups, fundraisers and community charity of the year partnerships, offering resources, ideas and recognition to help maximise income.
- Build strong relationships with the Hope for Tomorrow community empowering supporters to confidently lead their own fundraising initiatives.
Person specification to include:
- Experience in fundraising, or a similar relationship-based role.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport quickly and steward long term relationships at all levels.
- Creative and able to bring new and exciting ideas to the table to help increase fundraising income.
- Experience of organising events or campaigns.
