Community Fundraising Manager

The Talent Set are delighted to be partnering with Thames Valley Air Ambulance to recruit a Community Fundraising Manager.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join an ambitious and growing fundraising team and take the lead on an established community fundraising and in-memory programme across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

Thames Valley Air Ambulance exists to give everyone in their community the best chance of surviving and recovering from an emergency. At the heart of this role is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the people, groups and businesses who make that work possible, while finding new and creative ways to inspire more people to get involved.

You’ll take an established six-figure fundraising programme and build on its success, putting supporter journeys, engagement and excellent stewardship at the heart of your approach. There are fantastic existing relationships to nurture, alongside plenty of scope to develop new partnerships, events, fundraising products and ideas. Creativity is encouraged, and you’ll have the opportunity to shape the programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Head of Public Fundraising to shape and deliver the community fundraising strategy, with a focus on income growth, supporter engagement and long-term relationships.
  • Lead and develop the community fundraising programme across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, building strong relationships with individuals, community groups and small businesses.
  • Develop new opportunities to grow income, from engaging new audiences and supporters to exploring fresh fundraising ideas, products and partnerships.
  • Manage the charity’s local events programme, identifying opportunities to maximise income, engagement and visibility while ensuring Thames Valley Air Ambulance is represented positively within its communities.
  • Champion excellent supporter journeys and stewardship, ensuring supporters feel valued and connected to the cause.
  • Lead, develop and support the Community Fundraising Officer.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
