About Igodo
Igodo is a London app for small, curated in-person gatherings called connects. Three to six compatible people, one good plan, real life. No feeds, no swiping, no engagement tricks. We measure ourselves on one thing: whether people meet again. We launched this summer on the App Store and Google Play and we're building the founding community by hand.
The role
You'll work directly with the founder to fill rooms and grow our curator bench. This is a field role as much as a desk one. Some days you're messaging a book club host about curating their first connect. Some days you're on the steps of a market, welcoming people in.
Igodo is early stage so this is a small role at a small new company. A few hours a week, real ownership, direct mentorship, and a front-row seat to a launch. This internship is unpaid but all expenses for connects (food, tickets etc) will be covered. If you're between things, studying, or want experience you'll actually use, this is built for you.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you'll do
- Curate and host connects: choose the plan, set the room, welcome people and run the small rituals that make a gathering feel held.
- Fill open connects through warm, personal outreach, one person at a time, never blasts.
- Find community hosts and creators who might curate with us, reach out and keep that pipeline moving.
- Capture connects in photos and short video, and cut them into posts inside our brand system.
- Represent Igodo out in the world: markets, community events, cards in hands, conversations started.
Who you are
- You live in London and you go to things: markets, galleries, screenings, book clubs, runs.
- Warm in person and in DMs; strangers relax around you.
- You can shoot and edit simple, honest content on a phone.
- Organised enough to keep a tracker tidy without being chased.
- And you care about how hard it's become to make friends as an adult, and want to work on that directly.

- Around 4 to 6 hours a week, flexed around connects (mostly evenings and weekends).
- 12 weeks with the option to extend. This internship is unpaid. All expenses at connects (food, tickets etc) will be covered by Igodo.
