JOB PURPOSE

The Community & Influence Assistant will play an integral role in supporting the Influence & Community team, reporting directly to the Manager, Community & Influence. This position involves collaborating closely with our Beauty and Eyewear divisions as well as external partners, facilitating seamless coordination across multiple departments to drive impactful brand activations. The role combines hands-on project support with essential administrative responsibilities to ensure effective execution of influencer and community initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Acting as the primary liaison for global Beauty, Eyewear, and affiliate partners involved in influencer and community activations, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Managing timelines and deadlines rigorously, offering prompt feedback, and collaborating closely with external teams to guarantee successful activation outcomes.
  • Coordinating between internal regional teams and external partners to align strategies globally, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all markets.
  • Maintaining and updating the licencee calendar meticulously, keeping all relevant teams informed of upcoming events, activations, and plans.
  • Overseeing partner orders across regions by coordinating with internal units and external vendors to prioritize and expedite deliveries efficiently.
  • Handling receipt, sorting, and accurate tracking of all global influence and community external partner deliveries.
  • Supporting licencee activations with product dressing options that reflect brand priorities, enabling consistent brand representation.
  • Assisting in talent identification aligned with Burberry's brand influence strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Compiling and managing reporting on external partnerships, including comprehensive coverage analyses and KPI tracking across all regions.
  • Ensuring quality control and appropriate packaging for all product send-outs to guarantee safe arrival in accordance with Goods-In regulations.
  • Providing support to Product Assistants and Coordinators with product shipments and critical administrative tasks as needed.
  • Managing administrative duties including purchase order (PO) processing and maintaining up-to-date measurement platforms and coverage reports to support informed decision-making.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to operate within a fast-paced environment.
  • Good Excel, Powerpoint and Keynote skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to work in a context of ambiguity and change.
  • Previous experience in sample management and shipping/product send-outs is desirable.
  • Previous experience working with Beauty & Eyewear would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of the current beauty influencer landscape and interest in the topic would be a plus.
  • Hands on approach.
  • Problem-solver and strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working cross-functionally in a matrix organization is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build relationships.
